“Bran chose me as a 5-week-old puppy. My son and I went to his breeder to pick a dog for my son. He chose Vera, Bran's littermate because she crawled into his lap. But Bran had crawled into mine. The next day my son told me to call his breeder and see if he was still available. He wanted me to get him as well as his sister. He was and when they were 7 weeks old, we took them home. Bran sat on my lap with his head on my shoulder the whole 3-hour ride home. He was always by my side and watching to make sure I was never hurt. His favorite place to be was with me. On his last trip to the river 3 days before I had to say goodbye, he picked up a rock and brought it back to the truck. That's the rock in the picture of him in my truck. I collect rocks and that was his final gift to me. He really was the bestest boy.” (Bran’s Pet Parent)
“The moment we saw Kina on her adoption page, a sweet doll-eyed, overweight, senior husky, we just knew she was "the one.“ Untrue to her Husky appearance, Kina was a couch potato. She would also eat just about anything which explained how she weighed over 100 lbs when we first met her. Through multiple orthopedic surgeries and lots of lettuce, she lost an incredible 30 lbs and her goofy, happy personality began to come out. Kina comforted our family through our toughest of times and exponentially increased our happiest of times. She was always the center of attention and brought so much joy to those around her. Even when faced with splenic hemangiosarcoma, Kina never lost her gentle spirit. As our first dog, Kina will forever hold a special place in our hearts. She gave us endless laughter, unforgettable memories, and unconditional love that changed our lives forever.” (Kina’s Pet Parents)
“We adopted Scotty in February of 2018. Scotty loved his three human sisters and always preferred spending time with humans rather than other dogs! He didn’t mind sharing his home with two and then three cats. He was the sweetest, easiest dog and we loved how he swung his tail in circles like a helicopter and would show his excitement for a walk with tippy tappy front paws.” (Scotty’s Pet Parents)
